The airline industry is an important contributor to economic development. It has not only increased world trade activity by enabling faster and easier movement of passengers and goods but has also provided jobs to millions of people. Airlines accidents are increasing every year, and airlines delays is a common issue. This project aims to visually show flight issues which include delays and safety and point out the popular airlines based on overall revenue and passenger’s choice. The airlines delay data for this project comes from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. This dataset is all about flights in the United States, including information about the number, length, and type of delays. The data is reported for individual months at every major airport for every carrier. The airlines safety data consists of airlines incidents, fatal accidents, and fatalities which has been obtained from Data World. The monthly passenger traffic statistics by the airline was retrieved from Data SF and the revenue of major US domestics airlines came from the MIT Airline Data Project.
